Product Description
Multiple Drop Ball Circulating Sub is a set of short connection which can be opened and closed for many times. It is generally installed in special BHA such as directional, speed-up, logging while drilling and so on. It can open and close the bypass hole in time for special operation according to the requirements of downhole conditions, so as to enhance the applicability of special BHA, improve production efficiency and reduce well control risk.
Key Components
- Bypass Sub – Houses sliding sleeve and ports.
- Ball Catcher Sub – Collects dropped balls after activation.
- Switch Ball Group – Includes activation, closing, and locking balls.
Product Construction
The Multiple Drop Ball Circulating Sub valve is mainly composed of bypass sub, ball catcher sub and switch ball group. As shown in Figure 1. A set of switch ball group includes: an activation ball, two closing balls and a locking ball. The activation ball and locking ball are made of a new type of engineering plastics, and the closing ball is made of standard bearing steel.

- Flush cuttings beds in directional/horizontal wells.
- Clean casing and BOP stack.
Corrosive Fluid Pumping
- Safely handle acids or other aggressive fluids.
Window Milling & Reaming
- Remove metal burrs during sidetracking operations.
Reverse Circulation Channel
- Lock one bypass port open for reverse circulation during trips.
