Product Application
GS (I) Type Casing Brusher is one of the indispensable auxiliary tools for well completion, testing and downhole operation. Its main purpose is to remove the residual attachments after the scraping operation of downhole casing inner wall scraper and protect the cleanness of casing inner wall, so as to facilitate the normal operation of all drilling tools. It is usually used with casing scraper. GS (I) Type Casing Brusher is not suitable for drilling operation.
Product Construction
GS (I) Type Casing Brusher (Hereinafter referred to as casing brusher) is composed of mandrel, centralizing sleeve, steel brush support, steel brush, etc. The centralizing sleeve is installed in the middle of the mandrel. The diameter of the centralizing sleeve is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the casing. It can rotate freely on the mandrel and play the role of centralization when cleaning the inner wall of the casing. Select the center sleeve and steel brush with corresponding size according to different casing inner diameter.
Working Principle
After cleaning the inner wall of the casing with the casing scraper, because the scraper is rigid, there will be a small gap between the scraper and the inner wall of the casing, and some attachments will remain after the scraping operation. At this time, the casing can be further cleaned with a Casing Brusher. The steel brush has toughness and can fully contact the inner wall of the casing to brush the inner wall of the casing; The centralizing sleeve plays the role of centering, so that the steel brush on the circumference can evenly contact with the inside of the casing, and protect the steel brush from excessive extrusion with the inside of the casing.
