Overall, the China Petroleum and petrochemical Enterprises Energy Saving and low carbon technology Exchange Conference and exhibition showcased innovative technological solutions for green and low-carbon development within the petroleum and petrochemical industry, and helped create awareness of the need for sustainable development. The conference was presided over by China Petroleum Enterprises Association Executive Vice President Jiang Qingzhe, and its theme was "Carbon reduction, energy saving, quality and efficiency Improvement, helping the green development of 'double carbon' goal". Participants discussed the latest trends and opportunities in applying energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, in order to achieve a balance between economic growth and environmental protection. They examined how to actively promote innovation and technological breakthroughs and explore the application of these innovative achievements in enabling green development across the sector.
On April 7-8, 2023, the fourth China Petroleum and petrochemical Enterprises Energy Saving and low carbon technology Exchange Conference and new technology, new equipment, new materials exhibition was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. This event was hosted by the China Petroleum Enterprises Association, bringing together over 460 delegates from energy conservation and environmental protection leaders, experts, and related industry manufacturers from petrochina, SINOPEC, and CNOOC. The aim of this conference was to discuss the sustainable development of energy conservation and low-carbon technologies in petroleum and petrochemical industry, in support of China's goal to achieve "double carbon" reduction.
The conference provided a platform for experts and industry representatives to exchange ideas and experiences concerning energy-saving and low-carbon technologies in petroleum and petrochemical enterprises.
